The goal is to eat at and review every restaurant in Elmhurst, IL. As of July 2014, there were 82 restaurants. This number includes fast food restaurants and those with multiple locations (e.g. 3 Subway's). A restaurant, by this blog's definition, is any location where a meal can be purchased (i.e. breakfast, lunch, dinner).

Hunan Palace
Hunan Palace - You'd think they'd have great "Hunan Beef." Well maybe, if all the other Chinese restaurants are doing it wrong!! And, assuming you like bland food.
Our family has been eating here since 1999. Great value, quality ingredients prepared for each customer. Friendly staff. Even prompt delivery. We typically go at lunchtime and order from the extensive lunch menu. Entree, chicken fried rice or plain rice and either can of soda or bottled water for 4.95-5.25. Delicious soups,.crab rangoon, egg and spring rolls. They cater to your health. Ask for no oil, MSG, salt and they honor.
I have never ordered anything spicy, so I can't comment on that.
The owners are so generous. They donated food for York's Chinese Club New Year's Party. I encourage everyone to give them anorher chance.
Even if the pricing was higher we would support Hunan Palace. Fresh. Quality. Sure beats Red Dragon, Emperors Kitchen. They take Visa and Mastercard. Let me know if you have questions.
