Manny's Ale House

Manny's Ale House - (Formerly Elmhurst Public House) has been nicely remodeled, but alas, the food hasn't improved significantly.  To quote my friend Jim, "while I was eating the burger I was trying to remember what I ordered."  Fortunately, I was carrying some Carolina Red Reaper Pepper powder in my pocket to spice up the bland food.  Thanks Matt!

Whole Foods Market

Whole Foods Market is, well ... expensive.  Everyone knows this, and I can attest to that fact based on the cost of my lunch.  Decent salad bar (vegetables, fruits, nuts), nice seating area ... Mariano's 20% less for similar salad.

Chipotle (West)

Chipotle on Route 83 and St. Charles is one of the nicest Chipotle's I've visited.  The acoustics is better than all the other Chipotle's due to a better seating configuration.

Rosati's Pizza

Rosati's Pizza is one of the best in E-Town.  If I lived on the north side, this is where I'd get my pizza.

American Legion

American Legion - restaurant?  Well, yes.  They serve lunch.  I was forced to play bingo last week - well not really forced - I wanted to win the $4k pull tab, but sadly I settled for an individual pizza and a Blue Moon - win for me!

Pie Five Pizza

Pie Five Pizza is the newest of the "Subway" style pizza places in town.  I prefer MOD Pizza across the street.  The pizza oven at MOD is better than the toaster at Pie Five.  The salad is better as well.  My vote goes to MOD.
